This
beautiful girl is not very large in stature, but as you can see, she is
absolutely gorgeous! We had problems with Charisma when she was intact
since she had a way of not wanting to get along with very many of our other
breeder females. We were afraid this would remain the case with her,
but once she was spayed a few years ago she settled down much more than
we thought possible. She still can stand up for herself if someone
wants to pick on her, but she pretty much does her own thing now
and doesn't actually instigate slapping contests with anyone. We
do feel she may work best in a single cat household, but, depending on
the temperament of an already resident kitty, she will probably do just
fine. We will have to take her earlier behavior into consideration
when someone contacts us about possibly making Charisma part of their home
and family. As far as people go, she wants attention and doesn't
hesitate to let you know it! She will come along and pat the top
of a person's head with her paw when they are bent down scooping litter
boxes so she can have her attention when she wants it. She's also
quite the talker and really does talk up a storm on some days when she
has lots to tell you about. She's quite the character and we have
found many, many times that our girls who have the red patches have definite
"tortie-tude" and this one is no exception. We have decided she must
have a high metabolism since she walks and talks, walks and talks, walks
and talks....she's truly wonderful!
